For the past 75 years, Little Norway has been owned and operated by the Dahle family and its descendants. Maintaining and
improving this historic site has been a labor of love -- five generations have proudly shared with visitors this privately-
owned collection of Norwegian heritage artifacts, the largest found outside of Norway.
These 75 years have been both an honor and a challenge, presenting this museum and its
beautiful setting to visitors from around the world.
Now, Little Norway is spending the 2013 season closed to the public as we work with
foundations, scholars, and advisors to reorganize its ownership and future. Our goal is to keep this historic collection
intact and improve its care, accessibility, and interpretation. We look to 2014 with enthusiasm with a unique
opportunity in coming years to expand our work in historic preservation and destination tourism in southwestern
Wisconsin.
Thank you for your support over the years, and for the warm words of encouragement from so
many of you. We look forward to an exciting and bright future for Little Norway.
Takk skal du ha,
Scott and Jennifer Winner
