Inside our buildings you will see rare, museum-quality artifacts, meticulously collected over the past 8 decades. Among the treasures on display: Norse jewelry, beautifully embroidered wall hangings and intricately carved household objects arrayed throughout the Norway Building. Traditional Norwegian furnishings, weavings of linen and wool, and a display of authentic carved wooden spoons and ale bowls in the Main Cabin. An extensive collection of original ethnic clothing and costumes, and immigrant trunks. A stunning Royal Doulton Wash Bowl and pitcher Set and Hardanger Bedspread are on display in the granary. The original manuscript of the composition “Humoresque” by famed Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg.
