A guide costumed in the colorful costumes famous among the mountains and valleys of Norway will show your students and chaperones the snug little farmstead built by an immigrant family from Norway in the 1850’s. The farmstead is home to the largest privately held collection of Norwegian American artifacts anywhere. In addition it is the home of the only surviving international building from the 1893 World’s Fair that was held in Chicago, Illinois. Little Norway offers a slice of early Wisconsin history for your group to savor as you wander among the valley known locally as Nissedahle or Valley of The Elves.
Little Norway offers field trips from May through October each year. Reservations can be made year-round. You can set up your visit by calling 608-437-8211 or by an email request to littlenorway.com
