Little Norway

is proud to be on the

NATIONAL REGISTER OF HISTORIC PLACES

In addition to the cluster of log farm buildings there is the magnificent Norway Building modeled after a twelfth-century Stavkirke (Norwegian church), complete with dragon heads at the peak of the gables.  The "Norway Building" built in Norway for Chicago's Colombian Exposition of 1893, is a fine example of ancient Norse church architecture.

Here you will find an original manuscript of a composition written by Edvard Greig in 1873, hand carved skis, Norse jewelry, beautifully embroidered wall hangings and intricately carved household objects.  The treasures displayed here are too numerous to list and something you don't want to miss.
